Messing Around

I love playing tug-o-war with my sissy. We usually play together very nicely.Here we are playing happily together until...
Lulu pulled the toy away from me. I got so upset I started to cry.
Later that night I decided to do some exploring. I discovered the stairs, but couldn't quite get up them. I guess it's time for a baby gate!

Playdate

Today I had a playdate at Clinton's house. Carson came over and we all played together. Here I am sharing the music toy with Clinton. I had so much fun riding on Clinton's mini bike.
I was a little scared of this doggy statue at first because it looked so real. It took me a few minutes to warm up to it.
Pretty soon we were old pals and I gave it kisses.

Hanging Outside

Today we went to the park and played around outside. Here I am with daddy sitting on our patio. This is me in my stroller all ready for my walk.
I was a little hesitant to go down the slide. I thought I'd just sit and pose instead.
My first swing ride! I liked sitting in the swing until daddy started pushing it faster and faster. Then I got scared.

Entertaining Myself

These days I love bouncing in my bouncer, crawling all over the house, and just hanging out with mommy and daddy. I usually crawl right over to things I shouldn't get into...like Lulu's dog food or the DVD player. I like to get a handful of Lulu's food and thow it in the air. Then I look at mommy to see if she approves. I'll throw anything you give me, but I really like to throw my baseball and bouncy ball the best.

Fun Weekend!

This weekend was very busy for me. We went to Chevy's on Friday night with the family. Happy birthday Uncle Brian! On Saturday we went to Paso Robles to visit Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Bob. I went swimming with my gal pal Quinn and practiced my cannon balls. Grandma and Grandpa baby-sat me in the evening so mommy and daddy could go out and celebrate their 6 year anniversary!!
Check out my new toy. Here I am cruising around in it. I got mad when daddy tried to take me out.

The Obon Festival

Last night mommy and daddy took me to the Obon Festival in Japantown. Cousin Nolan let me borrow his happi coat for the occasion. We had some yummy food, played games, and watched the dancing. It was fun.

Mobility at Last!

I am 9 months old already! To mark this occasion I now have some newfound freedom...I have started my own version of crawling, although it looks more like a slither. I can get where I want to go now by pushing off with my hands and feet. Hopefully I'll get my belly up off the ground soon. Time to baby-proof the house! I've already discovered the outlets and plugs...Fun!!

I Love the Sink!

It's been sooo hot lately and I haven't been feeling that well. Mommy and daddy let me play around in the sinks at home. That sure cheered me up!

Shaver Lake

Over 4th of July weekend we went to Shaver Lake with the Rubbo clan. Here is a shot of me dipping my feet into lake water for the first time. Grandpa Bob is helping me out. Daddy just put this life jacket on me and I was NOT fond of it. We were about to go for a nice ride around the lake in our pontoon boat, but I refused to wear my vest. I cried bloody murder until daddy took it off of me. Instead, I hung out on the shore and put sand in my mouth. Yuck!

I'm taking my first bite of watermelon with Grandpa Bob. I loved it!!
Back at home...daddy and I were zonked out! I had a very rough trip because my top teeth are breaking through. I didn't sleep that well at the cabin, so I caught up on my zzz's once we got home. Apparently daddy is tired too...
